7. Judson Webb causes his own death in "Ruthless" by drinking his own poisoned whiskey. Before this happens, Judson falls. As stated in paragraph 27, "Judson, reaching for his boots, stepped fairly upon the acorn, his foot slid from under him and his head struck the massive table as he fell." This led to Alec, his caretaker, holding Judson saying, "Twarn't (it wasn't) much of a fall, Mr. Webb. You aren't cut none; jest knocked out for a minute. Here, take this; it'll pull you together."
