Why is it that people love you when you die?

I honestly have thought about this SO much

Like when we’re not here, people remember us for what we once were

And they realise how much we did for them

And they suddenly wish they didn’t mistreat us

They know that once we’re gone, we ain’t coming back.

I hope things become better and easier for whatever you are going through
