There are bits of both, extraneous and missing information, in the graph. In the text it doesn't explain anything about the time it takes for, vibrations or water flow, to go. In the text it says, "Generally, water underground is more like water and a sponge. It occupies the space is between soil and rock particles." The graph you are given doesn't show anything like this.
