In what ways, if any, does the monroe doctrine continue the american policy of neutrality?

In the battle of stalingrad the soviet forces took back stalingrad after the wehrmacht took over most of the city by entering from the volga and sending non stop troops, a lot like operation overlord. the germans weren't super dug in at stalingrad but they were in normandy, they weren't dug in to stalingrad because once the soldiers got in they would constantly have to move due to nose to nose warfare. in normandy there were multiple beaches but at stalingrad it was just one. in the "naval" landing at stalingrad they weren't able to use armor, but they did on dday.hope this just summarise what i said in whatever you are writing or typing
