PLEASE HELP AS SOON AS POSSIBLE VERY VERY URGENT Read the following passages and then answer the question. George Washington is one of the most well-known figures in American history. He was the commander of the Continental Army during the American Revolutionary War and was the first president of the United States. Washington's decision not to run for a third term as president set a precedent by which it became the practice of later presidents (prior to Franklin Roosevelt's presidency and an amendment to the U.S. Constitution) to serve not more than two elected terms in office. Martin Luther King, Jr., was a leading figure of the African American civil rights movement of the 1950s and 1960s. He worked to achieve racial equality and end the practice of racial segregation. King's actions and commitment to nonviolent resistance inspired many other individuals and groups in the civil rights movement to challenge racial segregation through acts of civil disobedience.
