Third Crusade is led by Frederick I Barbarossa, Richard I Lion Heart of England and Philip II Augustus of France. During this campaign, the Crusaders returned a large number of cities from Muslims in Palestine, but they failed to conquer Jerusalem again. In September 1192, Richard I Saladin signed a peace treaty that restores the Kingdom of Jerusalem, but without the city of Jerusalem. This is the end of the third Crusade.
The condition for signing the agreement was that Jerusalem remain under Muslim control, but it is allowed for unarmed Christian pilgrims to visit the holy city, which allows access to the Holy Grove of the Lord. Also, traders could come to town without any special permits and fees. Goods could be freely sold on any land. The city of Ascalon under the Christian control, and thus prevented Muslims from having links with their cities in Egypt and Syria, returned to Saladin.
