The major contributors to the post great war recession were:
Deflation
Unemployment
Oversupply of employees.
Explanation:
First of all, we need to understand something. When the war started, men got drafted and women had to support the country's call on labor and social tasks. Therefore positions were occupied in the different industries. Nevertheless, when the war ended the veterans returned to the U.S. and they sought jobs. Which were not available after a few months, because there were all occupied. Then, all the prices fell because companies kept producing at war rates while here was not such a big demand. As a cause of it oversupply was developed and deflation struck the prices because there was no demand.
