We need to graph the equation using the x and y intercepts.

x - intercept:

The x - intercept of the equation is the value of x when y = 0.

Hence, substituting y = 0 in the equation, we get;

Thus, the value of the x - intercept is 3.

The coordinates of the x - intercept are (3,0)

y - intercept:

The y - intercept of the equation is the value of y when x = 0.

Hence, substituting x = 0 in the equation, we get;

Thus, the value of the y - intercept is -4.5

The coordinates of the y - intercept is (0,-4.5)

Now, plotting the coordinates of x and y intercepts and joining the coordinates, we get, the graph of the equation.

The point at the bottom has to move over 2 to the left to be aligned with the point at the top however they will have a 3 space in between the 2 same for the point at the top, the top point moves over 2 to the right to be aligned with the bottom point, then they will have a 3 square space between each other.
