im not too sure but my best guess would be

D= 900×T

D= the constant of proportionality multiplied by time to get how many miles traveled.

if the hours given were 1 hour 2 hours & 3 hours

if you multiplied them by 900 you would get the distanced traveled

900 x 1 = 900 miles traveled in one hour

900 ×2 = 1800 miles traveled in 2 hours
