Lets start with the triangle.
area of right triangle = ab/2
6*8=48 48/2= 24
so the triangles surface area is 24, remeber there are 2 identical triangles so multiply 24 by 2 and get 48 again
now lets do one of the rectangles
area of rectangle is ab
so 4*10=40
lets add that to the total
48+40 = 88
Now lets do 8*4= 32
add to total again, 88+32= 120
and now do the last rectangle, 6*4=24
Now get the grand total of it all, 120+24 = 144
Thats how you do it :)
