You could draw three rectangles stack on top of each other like a plus sign. This would give you 12 sides. Dividing 140 by 12 gives you 11 and 2/3. Label each side 11 and 2/3 yards.

If you wanted to use only integers are or subtract the fractions from each side to another.

Simply multiply each term from the first bracket with the 2 terms from the second bracket:

(a - 5) (a + 5) = (a*a + a*5) + (-5*a + -5*5)

= a^2 + 5a - 5a - 25

= a^2 - 25
