Hi can someone tell me how do i find the mode on a list of numbers? remember even if 2 people have the same answer the most descriptive wins the title of the most brainlist!

Mode, is very easy to understand.

You have a list of numbers; 1,2,3,4,5,5,4,5

You have the question, "What is the Mode for this list of numbers?"

First off, what is Mode?

Mode is the value (number) that appears most often in a set of data. That being said, go back to the list given above.

1,2,3,4,5,5,4,5

The numbers that appear most often is 4 and 5. 

4 appears 2 times
5 appears 3 times

But, remember, Mode is the value that appears most OFTEN;

Thus, the Mode for this example is 5.

For Part A, since we know that 850 teenagers were surveyed and 32% of them like hard rock, we can solve using the following method:
1) First, we can multiply 850 by 32% or 0.32. That gives us 272.
2) Now, we know that out of the 850 kids surveyed, only 272 like hard rock.

For Part B, since we know that 75% of the kids surveyed, which can also be known as 150 teenagers, we can solve using the following method:
1) First, we can divide 150 by 3, since we know that 75 is 3/4 of 100. That gives us 50.
2) Now we can add 50 to 150, which gives us a total of 200 students that were surveyed.

For Part C, an example in which a percentage greater than 100% could have to do with vitamin and nutrition intake, or change in world population. An example could be: the world population increased by 500% from 1804 to 1999.
