Part A)
We have 10 values in total and we want our graph to highlight the frequency of each individual scores. For this purpose a dot plot would be the most suitable graph as it shows the numbers on the horizontal line and dots which represent the individual frequency above the numbers. A box plot would have been suitable if we needed to observe the spread of the data. A histogram would have been helpful if the data were to be divided into classes. Since in this case we want to highlight the individual frequencies, a dot plot would be the best possible choice.

Part B)
Construction of Dot Plot

First observe the range of values that are provided. The values range from 2 to 12. So we can construct a dot plot showing the line with numbers from 0 to 15 as shown below.
For each data entry, a dot is placed just above that number to show its frequency. The number of dots will equal to the frequency. So according to the given data there will be one dot on 2, four dots on 3, four dots on 4 and one dot on 12. The dot plot is shown below.
