What are the steps to figure out what 10 times as much as 0.08

This is an example only to be used with numbers starting with 1. You look at how many zeros are in the number. However many that may be, that is how many times you move your number to the left.

Process:

Multiply 10 and 0.08

0.08
x 10


Since it's 10, you can use this simple trick:

Move the decimal or . to the right once

Which would leave you with 00.8

Since 0 is irrelevant, you can get rid of the zero in the 10s place.

Start with the first two columns, taking every possible pair of True/False for p and q.

¬q is just the negation of q, so True becomes False and False becomes True.

p ∨ q is the logical disjunction, or logical "or". It's True if either p or q is True, and False otherwise. So p ∨ ¬q is True only if either p or ¬q is True.

p ⇒ q is the logical implication. It's True only when both p and q are True, or when p is False. So (p ∨ ¬q) ⇒ q is True when both p ∨ ¬q and q are True, or when p ∨ ¬q is False.
