What's the solution for x-5y=1 and 2x-7y=8

We start out with:
x-5y=1
 +5y   +5y
x=5y+1

Now lets fine y:
2x-7y=8
/2x      /2x
-7y=4x
/-7  /-7
y=-4x
      7

It’s really easy do not make it complicated on yourself!

Fist thing you should know ANY NUMBER WHICH IS TO POWER ZERO THE ANSWER WILL ALWAYS BE ONE!!

Part A : (7^2)^x is (49)^x

(49)^x = 1 , here is basically asking you what’s the value of X to know which number to the power of 49 to put so that it equals to 1, obviously the answer is 0 as we said before ANY NUMBER TO THE POWER OF 0 , the answer will be 1

Part A = 0

(7^0) = 1

(1)^x = 1

So now is asking what number to put for x for you to multiply by one to get one it’s obviously 1, because 1 x 1= 1
