did you know that the first types of numbers date back to thousands of years ago? people have been using numbers ever since. we use numbers all the time in our daily life too–to keep score, count sheep to fall asleep, or tell someone how old we are.

a. take some time and look around for positive and negative integers in the real world. find at least three examples of the use of negative integers, fractions, and/or decimals in real-world settings. you can use newspapers, magazines, video clips, internet articles, or other resources. post the images, recordings, or links, of your three examples to the discussion board with a short description of what you found. put the rational numbers in order from least to greatest.
