How much work is done by 3.00 mol of ideal gas when it triples its volume at a constant temperature of
127°C? The ideal gas constant is R = 8.314 J/mol ∙ K.
I need it with the explanation at each point, I am not very good at physics and it would be a great help! A hug and thanks!

W = FS, where F is the net force, S is the relative displacement.
Assume you applied the force at only one instant, then only friction does the work. So for larger box, the higher the mass will be. So does the friction.
And the S is even bigger.
