Consider thick plates of copper and glass, each at an initial temperature of 300 K. Assuming your finger to be at an initial temperature of 310 K and to have thermophysical properties of rho = 1000 kg/m3 c = 4180 J/kg K, and k = 0.625 W/m K, determine whether the copper or the glass will feel cooler to the touch.
