The correct answer is A) Mountains prevent rain from reaching inland areas.
The statement that best explains why water is unevenly distributed in the Middle East is "Mountains prevent rain from reaching inland areas."
The Middle East is a region full of conflicts. Problems due to race, land occupation, cultural and ethnic differences, and poverty. To make things worse, water is one of those issues that create confrontations between countries in the Middle East.
