Fair housing act it made it so real-estate agency’s couldn’t sell houses to people based on their race because before hand agencies would only sell certain houses to African Americans if the area was a quote “ethnic” area because African Americans moving into a white area reduced the property value bc white people didn’t want to live by black peoples it was really messed up
