Both cystic fibrosis (CF) and albinism are genetic diseases in human population. Anne is married to Bob and is planning to have another baby after their first miscarriage. Anne is an albino while Bob is a CF individual. Due to these reasons, Anne and Bob consulted a Genetic Counselor. The following family background information is provided to the Counselor by Anne and Bob. Anne’s elder brother Tom is married to a CF carrier, Tiana and she is pregnant. Anne’s mother, Kary is an albino but not the father Greg. Anne’s sister, Surai is an albino and had two miscarriages. One miscarriage was found to be a male fetus. Bob’s younger sister, Suwee and father George appears phenotypically normal to both Albinism and CF. But Bob’s father is a phenylketonuria patient. Bob’s mom, Suveno is an albino. In addition Anne’s elder sister Zarie died due to phenylketonuria condition. Note: some of the individuals named above have not undergone medical testing to establish the relevant genetic conditions. Draw pedigree diagrams using the above information indicating the names of the individual under the relevant symbol. Explain the chance of inheritance of Albinism and Cystic Fibrosis condition to a baby of Anne and Bob.
