Draw the structures of the two deoxyribonucleotidesbase pairs, c-g, and a-t. draw c and a on the left. include both the sugar and the 5’ phosphate. indicate the watson-crick-franklin base-pairing we learned in class. identify where you would find the major and minor grooves, if these base pairs were in the context of dsdna. identify the h-bonding patterns in the major and minor grooves (i.e. which parts of the major and minor grooves would be h-bond acceptors and h-bond donors? )

The draw is below.
Explanation:
The minor groove is between the adenine (A) and the thymine (T) nitrogen bases. Between A and T there are two Hydrogen bonds. Adenine is a H acceptor as well as thymine and between A and T there is other H that would act as an intermediary between the two hydrogen bonds acceptors.
The major groove is between the cytosine (C) and guanine (G). Between this two nitrogen bases there are three Hydrogen bonds. Cytosine would be an H bond acceptor while guanine would be an H bond donor.
According to the Watson- Crick-Franklin theory adenine pairs with thymine and cytosine with guanine.
