Solar technology graphic describe photons as packets of solar energy
Explanation:Sunlight is made up of tiny packets of energy called photons. Solar-powered photo voltaic (PV) panels convert the sun's rays into electricity by exciting electrons in silicon cells using the photons of light from the sun. When the sunlight strikes the cell, photons in the light energizes some of the extra electrons from the silicon, and they flow to that part of the cell where there is a missing electron. This flow produces an electrical current that finally reaches the inverter, and gets converted into usable electricity for domestic or industrial use.
