How is the structure of a unicellular organism different than the structure of a multicellular organisms? How does this affect function

Since cells have specific functions and capabilities, unicellular organisms have less capabilities and more or less have one job. Functions are reduced with unicellular. Humans, for example who are multicellular, have functions for cell regeneration, clotting, nerves, etc and therefore have a longer list of functions that unicellular organisms like bacteria

Multicellular organisms can be much larger and more complex. This is because the cells of the organism have specialised into many different types of cells such as nerve cells, blood cells, muscle cells all performing different functions

Porosity is the ratio of volume of pores to the total volume of soil. This ratio varies between 0 and 1, or  between 0% and 100% as a percentage.

Porosity is also called as void fraction and  is a measure of the empty spaces present in a material. Thus a porous soil will have more amount of  air and less porous soil will have less amount of  air

A porous soil is made from coarse particles that leave large gaps known as pores.
