English
Compose a short dialogue.
1. Select a parable from the New Testament (such as the prodigal son, the five foolish virgins, or the tares of the field) or an episode from the Old Testament (Ruth, Naomi, and Boaz; David and Goliath).
2. Reread the passage carefully, deciding what the emphasis should be.
3. Next, decide how many characters will be necessary, listing their Biblical names and a brief character description. Also, visualize the setting, and describe it in a short introduction.
4. Now, write the scene in dialogue, using modern English. Your play should be no less than 250 words.

This dialogue is based on: (Ruth 3:7-14) it’s over 250 words.
“Who are you? What are you doing?”
“It’s me my Lord, it’s me your slave girl Ruth”
“Why do you frighten me like so? I am an old man, a troubling heart could have come upon me my child. And, why do you refer yourself as my slave girl? You are a free youthful soul, are you not?”
“No my Lord, I am not free”
“How are you not free my child?”
“I am not free for my heart belongs to you. I long with all my heart that you become mine only. I stopped myself so many times from telling you this because I feared you would reject me your servant girl. I hoped you yourself would step up and speak to me, I hoped that you yourself would notice that you were my repurchaser. But, it is me who has come to you this trembling night to confess how much I care for you. So, please spread your garments over your servant girl, for you are my repurchaser”
“Blessed you be my child for your eyes have not looked upon the youths upon this land. For you have not fallen for or wedded men who are either rich or poor. You have showed loyal love today more than the first day I saw you. And now my daughter I shall do everything you say dear for everyone in the city knows that you are an excellent woman”
“My Lord, have you really found love upon your servant girl?”
“Since the first day I saw you my child my eyes saw a hardworking soul filled with loyal love. I laid my eyes on you before you ever laid my eyes on me dear child.”

Shortly before Fogg’s departure, someone resembling him had robbed a bank, and Fogg’s sudden exit leads Scotland Yard to believe that he was the bank robber. Accordingly, a detective, Mr. Fix, is sent to Suez, in British-ruled Egypt, to await the steamer Mongolia, on which Fogg and Passepartout are traveling. Fix befriends Passpartout, and, after learning that they will take the steamer to Bombay, he buys a ticket and joins them. The Mongolia reaches Bombay before the arrival of an arrest warrant, however. During the few hours before their planned departure for Calcutta on the Great India Peninsula Railway, Passepartout visits a Hindu temple on Malabar Hill, unaware that Christians are forbidden to enter and that shoes are not to be worn inside. He is beaten by enraged priests and barely makes it to the train station on time.
