2. How did anti-communist fear affect American politics and culture in the 1950s?

McCarthyism is one of the most notorious movements during the Cold War Era. The legal accusations of politicians and celebrities affected not only their image and careers, but their supporters and industries. Pretty much any person who was not completely anti-communist was in question of loyalty to the U.S.

I am sure it is Iran, because I love history and I learned about this in my school.
