Oh, I've seen this one before !

A. The guys getting squeezed is the Hungarian Empire.

B. Two provisions of the treaty were that Germany had to pay the Russians a lot of money to help with their revolution and had to send steel to the USA since it had supplied so much stuff for WWI. Germany liked the idea of helping other countries around the world.

C. The USA was able to use the German steel to build a huge army to help it's  Allies in WWII.

  they argued that waterboarding was used in multiple conflicts throughout the twentieth century.. they argued that waterboarding was not considered torture in countries like iraq, so could be used by the united states.. they argued that the president had the authority to do whatever he deemed necessary to get information in the global war on terrorism.. they argued that congress had not specifically outlawed waterboarding, so it should be upheld as a useful tactic..
