You will choose three time periods from a given list. Then, you will analyze continuities and changes in
four of the following areas: gender roles; consumption; leisure activities; popular culture (art, literature,

The actual carrying out or implementation of foreign policy falls to Executive Agencies.
The implementation of foreign policy is a result of a joint effort of the various branches of the United States Government.
Further Explanation:
Foreign policy is one of the most important subjects legislated on by the Executive Agencies, in accordance with the executive orders issued by the President, who formulates these laws on the basis of consultations with the National Security advisor , the State Department, Homeland Security, and the national intelligence services. Thus, we can envisage that the formulation of foreign policy is not a one-step process, but involves several complex stages, in which every order is reviewed before being passed. The legislative part of foreign policy is overseen by the various executive agencies that aid and assist the President in the formulation of these policies. while the President conducts diplomatic talks and policies in the first place. Both the Executive branch and the legislative branch of the Government work in tandem to achieve the goal of the United States’ foreign policy, i.e. to build and sustain a democratic prosperous environment for the world, in which the Americans can live and prosper.
Since the process of formulation of foreign policy is in reality, a joint effort by the Executive Agencies and the President, the President is vested with the formal authority of initiating diplomatic negotiations with other nations, to secure American interests. Usually, the President conducts these negotiations in accordance with recommendations made by Homeland Security, the Department of Foreign affairs, and the Secretary of State. Negotiations are followed by presenting them in the form of a treaty, which is then presented before the Congress for approval and further ratification. It has to be noted that the Congress decides the fate of these negotiations, and may choose to either accept or reject the Bill. The executive agencies are therefore entrusted with the complete security of the United States, and to ensure that the foreign policy formulated does not harm the sovereignty of the United States.
