Events that led to the involvement of the United States in World
War I.
Effects of World War I on the United States, including at least
one of these: the building of new military bases and the
economic effects of emigration to industrial jobs in the North.
Events that affected the nation in the 1920s, including at least
one of these: prohibition, the rise of mass media, improvements
in daily life, the revival of the Ku Klux Klan, and the Harlem
Renaissance.
The effects of the Great Depression and the lasting effects of the
New Deal on the United States.
The effects of World War II on the United States, including at
least one of these: the building of additional military bases,
rationing and bond drives, and the return of economic
prosperity.
