1. David and Larry, both 13, were walking down an alley near their home. They saw a brand new bike lying in the middle of the lane. They decided to take it for a ride. After riding the bike they took it to their house instead of returning it to the alley. The neighbours saw them and reported them to the police. They were charged.
2. Nelly, 24, bought a very nice car from an acquaintance whom she knew was involved in questionable dealings. The car was such a bargain that she couldn’t turn it down. 3. Nya, 17, was asked by a friend, Tom, to hold his books for a few minutes while he went to the restroom. Tom was a known drug dealer in the school. Tom did not return. A locker check was done and the marijuana was found. She was charged.
4. Anna, 12, collected baseball cards. The corner store just received a new shipment. All her friends had money and were buying the cards. He called the police and she was charged.
5. Gabriel’s next-door neighbors were on vacation. His friends told him he could sell used CD’s to a second hand store for 40% of their actual value. Because he had been in his neighbour’s home many times he knew they had a large collection of CD’s. One day after school Gabriel decided to enter his neighbour’s home. He found a window that had been left unlocked and he opened it and crawled into the house. He took 50 CD’s and left the house. When he tried to sell the CD’s the owner of the store became suspicious and called the police. Gabriel, 16, was charged.
6. Joan, 15, had a crush on Adam. She decided to write their names on the gymnasium wall. The principal came around the corner and saw her. He called the police. She was charged.
7. Andy, 30, had a terrible argument with his landlord. He ended up pushing his landlord down the stairs. His landlord was seriously injured. An ambulance and the police attended. Andy was charged.
8. Judith, 19, drove to her friend’s party. Everyone was drinking so she joined them. After midnight she decided to go home. While she was driving she got into a serious car accident. The police arrived and they could smell alcohol on her breath. She was charged.
