This is an opinion answer so you may want to change it according to your own take:
Overall, the everyday use of language carries a much broader meaning of these words which usually introduces confusion with respect to understanding their very precise meaning in statistics and probability theory. On the other hand, due to some overlap in meaning, the familiarity may be somewhat helpful with memorizing these terms in statistics.
The word "normal" in statistics refers to a random variable distributing according to a Gaussian distribution. We hardly mean that when saying "I had a pretty normal day." There is only a very loose connection between them: normal, as in uneventful, ties to the Gaussian distribution in that it is symmetric and quite simple among other things.
The term "confidence" has a much broader meaning in everyday language compared to its sibling in statistics: statistical confidence refers usually to a precisely defined quantile of a distribution expressing variability and uncertainty of a random variable. However both share some meaning in expressing a degree of trust.
The term "random" is probably the most useful when transferred from everyday use to the realm of math. Randomness in statistics implies absence of pattern and non-repeatability. This aligns quite well with what some people mean by saying "that's so random"
