Ok so we need to figure out several things. 45-38 =7. So we need to get 7 thousand out of a 2% commission on sales. If 7 thousand is 2%, then 3.5 is 1%. We now have to multiply 3500 by 100 to figure out what is 100%. When we do, we get 350,000. Therefor, John would have to sale $350,000 worth of items to make the same pay that company ABC offers him.
