If the total before taxes and tips is $24.39 than Tax would be 24.39 times 0.06 which is $1.46 and You add that to the cost which would be 24.39 + 1.46 would be 25.85 and tip would be 18 percent of that value which can be found by 25.85 times 0.18 which is 4.65 and than u add tht to the cost which is $30.50 therefore the total cost is $30.50
