Lo que podemos concluir de esto es:
Si el peso del objeto es menor que el empuje realizado por el fluido, entonces la fuerza hacia arriba va a ser mayor que la fuerza hacia abajo del objeto, de esta forma sacando parte del objeto del fluido, y el objeto flotara en la superficie.
Un ejemplo de esto es un salvavidas flotando en el mar.
Si el peso del objeto es igual que el empuje, entonces las fuerzas se cancelaran y el objeto flotara introducido en el fluido (es decir, no se sigue hundiendo ni emerge a la superficie), un ejemplo de esto puede ser un pedazo de madera relativamente pesado.
Si el peso del objeto es mayor que el empuje del fluido, entonces la fuerza resultante será hacia abajo, y en este caso el objeto continuara bajando hasta que se hunda totalmente. Un ejemplo de esto podría ser una moneda en un vaso de agua.
