Jose's migration from Mexico shows the fact that he failed to get a good job there. In the US, he failed to get a job according to his degree. Hence, his present jobs are not enough to meet his needs. Life for Jose in the US has been full of stress and tension since he is doing jobs much lower in social status. Now Jose is in minimum wage class which does not allow him to earn enough to look after his health. Economic status breeds poverty and poverty is the root cause of poor health since the poor can not afford better health services. Minimum wage jobs has taken away much of energy of Jose who was trained to teach.
