Be sure to copy and rewrite and restate everything here if you don't want to be caught. In this story The Divine Comedy, Dante himself plays the role as the narrator while also being the hero in the story. Thus he should be classified as a First-Person Limited Point of view, but Dante adds a twist to this: he actively talks to the poet/narrator and says he needs their help. The point of view changes even more because by doing this the narrator has separated himself from the writer, and has supposedly taken control of the story. This means that the narrator believes that it is his job now to guide Dante and protect him if Dante's strength fails him when he needs it most by twisting things to favor him.
I predict that even though the narrator has more power now, or at least thinks he does, that when he tries to keep Dante from meeting his fate the actual writer, the one who holds the pen, will end up repeating certain circumstances until Dante meets the writer's desired end. I also predict that Dante, the main character, will be warned often by the narrator before a little before the bad things happen. Thus, Dante will have a lot less chance of dying and the story ending sooner rather than later.
