Read the excerpt from "What to the Slave is the Fourth of July?" Fellow-citizens, above your national, tumultuous joy, I hear the mournful wail of millions! whose chains, heavy and grievous yesterday, are, to-day, rendered more intolerable by the jubilee shouts that reach them. If I do forget, if I do not faithfully remember those bleeding children of sorrow this day, "may my right hand forget her cunning, and may my tongue cleave to the roof of my mouth!" To forget them, to pass lightly over their wrongs, and to chime in with the popular theme, would be treason most scandalous and shocking, and would make me a reproach before God and the world. My subject, then, fellow-citizens, is American slavery. I shall see this day and its popular characteristics from the slave’s point of view. Which best describes why this is an example of inductive reasoning?

It is an inductive reasoning
Explanation:
It is an inductive reasoning because the author induces by means of a memorable date and that touches the heart of an entire nation such as July 4, which is the day of independence from the United States freed from the English yoke, but still the author induces to think that since the living conditions of a whole power have not been the best, the nation continues to see itself as "slaves"; the author or message only focuses on the negative and forgets that each one of us decides if he wants to continue being "slave" or sets out to get ahead with new projects and ideas for the betterment of the nation.

The correct answer is B. Inflation is a gradual increase in the price of goods and services.
EXPLANATION
Inflation is a term in the economy, explaining the increase in the price of services and goods over time. Inflation basically increases the cost of your living. That means you have to earn more money next year to buy food, get a haircut, or even to fill your gas tank.
In a more specific explanation, inflation decreases the power of purchasing every currency unit. For example, the U.S. inflation decreased the value of the dollar, year by year. The dollar value today and the dollar value in the past is different. The dollar value in the past is higher than today. When the price of services and goods rise, then the money automatically buys less. It can reduce your standard of living if you do not earn more over time.
Demand-pull inflation and cost-push inflation are the two main causes of inflation. Demand-pull inflation is the most common one. This will happen when the demand for goods and services outpaces the supply. Buyers need more product so they are willing to pay a higher price to buy the products or services that they want. The second one is cost-push inflation. This happens when the demand for goods and services does not change, but supply constraints raise the prices of goods and services.
